TikTok now connects with Shopify

A new integration with Shopify makes it simple for merchants to promote products on TikTok.

The announcement explains that the TikTok For Business platform will now be more readily accessible to Shopify’s 1 million merchants selling products online. Shopify is the first ecommerce platform to partner with TikTok. (TikTok will join Shopify’s other existing partners including Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, Microsoft, and Google.)

How it Works

Shopify merchants can access core functions of the TikTok For Business Ads Manager without leaving the Shopify dashboard. The features include:

  • "1-click" pixel: A quick and easy feature for tracking conversions that come from TikTok.

  • Campaign management: Create campaigns, target audiences and track performance.

  • Create ads: “Intuitive creative tools help turn merchants' products into high quality TikToks in minutes.”

  • Free Ad Credit: Eligible merchants can claim a $300 ad credit when signing up.

Why it matters

This is a big step forward in terms of monetizing the app and becoming even more mainstream than it already is. It’s also another sign that it may be worth taking a second look at TikTok if your business hasn’t gotten on board yet.
